I’m so excited to share our nursery today! Sitting here at 40 weeks and 4 days pregnant, I cannot help but wonder when our son will arrive. One thing is for sure, he will be greeted with an awesome room. We went the untraditional route and picked a black and white little man cave theme. With batman decals, fun pictures, and an amazing closet – I think this is one of the coolest little boy rooms.
Our Design Team
I recruited the help of Havenly this past spring to help me pull together my inspiration. If you haven’t heard of Havenly you need to look them up right now. They are an online design team at the fraction of the price of other designers. I worked with Brooke Benfield. I basically gave her my budget and design preferences and she pulled this look together. Pretty cool, right?
We sourced a lot of the pieces from my favorite kid stores. The crib and dresser are from Restoration Hardware. Our amazing parents gifted us the crib at our baby shower. The rocker and cool gold bookcase are from Land of Nod. The gorgeous arrow lamp was a gift from Pottery Barn. Most of the artwork – including the batman decals, the fun pirate bunnies, and the little man cave pictures came from Etsy. The books and toys were all gifts.
My Favorite Part of our Nursery
My favorite design feature of our nursery has to be the closet. We used my dad as our contractor for the new house and he did not skimp on the details. He created the most perfect little shelves and hanging system for all of our son’s clothes and accessories. I even have room for storing extra diapers and toys.
I’ve included tons of pictures below of the space. If you have any questions about working with Havenly or where we got some of the pieces, drop me a comment below! Here’s to hoping our little man makes his grand debut this week.
