TAKE A BREATH. RE-EVALUATE. WHAT MAKES YOU HAPPY?

I’ve been pretty quiet here this year but 2020 is all about family and relationships for me! I was finding myself working full time and mindlessly scrolling social media after dinner instead of loving on my kids and my husband. Those are my people. They need me and I need them. That’s not to say I’m not working but I’ve scaled back quite a bit and plan to resume later this year.

So why am I posting a bucket of strawberries? Well my scaled back schedule has allowed me to travel to see my childhood best friend in Florida with Lincoln. And today - we went to a local farm and picked THESE amazing strawberries. Life is great.

So if you’re used to me inspiring you to achieve your fitness goals I hope this year I can inspire you to achieve happiness. Much love xoxo Heather

Happy Thanksgiving! My advice as a personal trainer and nutritionist: Enjoy your day!!! Make memories! Don’t stress about food. I always say if it’s a memory making experience - then make the dang memories! It’s one day out of a year. Eat until you’re satisfied and not overly stuffed. Thankful for you!!

Up for a challenge? Try this battle rope workout. All skill levels can participate!
⠀⠀
WORKOUT: Complete each movement for 30 seconds. Follow it up with a 15 second break. ⠀⠀
MOVES:
-Alternating waves
-Jumping jacks -Slams -Alternating Wave lunges -Alternating lateral slams ⠀⠀
Get through this whole circuit 3 times for a quick 11 minute workout. This is perfect to tag on to the beginning or end of an upper body day! To see the whole circuit in action - click on my IGTV.
