Peanut & Almond Butter Recall

Nut butter recall

The FDA has issued a recall for a bunch of nut butters that have been linked to salmonella.

The products include Arrowhead Mills Peanut Butters, MaraNatha Almond Butters and Peanut Butters and some private label nut butters sold under the Trader Joe’s, Whole Foods, Kroger and Safeway brands.

There is a full list available here.

Customers are being asked to throw away their jars (don’t even think about taking another spoonful…) and to contact the company directly at 1-800-937-7008 between 8 a.m. and 8 p.m. CT for a replacement or refund.

The products have been sold throughout the United States, Hong Kong, Canada, United Arab Emirates, Dominican Republic, and online.
