Chia Seed Pudding

Ever wonder what to do with your chia seeds? I’ve heard of putting them in shakes and yogurt, oatmeal and baking them in bread – but this was a new one for me. While scanning through my Twitter account, I came across this recipe from Lo Bosworth and decided to give it a try myself.

I promise, this is one of the easiest recipes I’ve come across and it is packed with healthy benefits like healthy omega-3 fats and fiber. It’s also a great breakfast or post-workout snack. Try it for yourself and let me know what you think!

Chia Seed Pudding
– 3 tbs chia seeds (you can usually find these at a health food store or chains like Whole Foods.
– 4 tbs milk (almond, soy, coconut, skim – your choice)
Extras: Agave nectar and a little bit of fruit (I prefer frozen raspberries).

Step 1: Pick up some chia seeds from your local health food store.
Step 2: Measure out 3 tablespoons and mix with 4 tablespoons of milk – stir
Step 3: Mix in any extras to sweeten up the pudding. Put in the fridge for 10-15 minutes, when done consistency should be similar to tapioca
Step 4: Stir and enjoy!!

Happy healthy eating!
